Giro Empire SLX – racing bike shoes with a weight of only 185 grams per shoe, pro-level performance features and highest wearing comfort from day one, the Empire SLX stands out far from the competition. We wanted to develop a minimalist shoe that maintains the supportive structure of the legendary Empire but goes one step forward in terms of style. To achieve this goal, we have equipped the ultra-light monofilament mesh synchwire shaft with additional structural support through thermoplastic Teijin polyurethane reinforcements. The Easton EC90-SLX2 carbon fibre sole gives the shoe optimal stiffness and ensures ideal power transmission. Thanks to our adjustable Super Natural Fit footbed, you get a shoe with the Empire SLX that will convince you from the beginning with the highest level of comfort and best step efficiency. Upper material/shaft: one-piece synchwire outer material with thermally welded Teijin mesh fabric for precise structural hold and increased resistance, holding loop for laces, closure system: lacing sole: Easton EC90 SLX2 carbon fibre composite threaded inserts made of stainless steel, replaceable shoe heel, footbed: SuperNatural Fit Kit with adjustable arch support, XT2. fibres on the surface.
