Originally published in 2024, the Malayalam edition of this book was honoured with the Best Book Award (2021–25) in the Experience/Memoir category by the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala.

This special life journey began when the author’s son, Alan, affectionately called Alloos, was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the age of three. The book serves as a valuable guide for those navigating similar paths, detailing the family’s personal experiences, assessments, therapies, training methods, and the many challenges they faced. Beyond its personal narrative, Together with ALLOOS aims to enhance public awareness and understanding of this socially significant subject while offering insights into inclusive parenting practices.
