Did not work as described in the manual. Had to take different steps and actions to get it to work but once I got it I successfully transfered all of my files from my Android and was able to copy them to my computer.

I purchased this 4 months ago and today it decided to stop working and all my files are lost. I use it for my MacBook for storage, and on my HP to transfer files. I tried to plug it in last night and all of the sudden it stopped working. I tried using the USB side on my laptop and on my desktop. On my laptop it just says there's something wrong with my device that it won't recognize it, on my desktop it gives me the blue screen of death and shuts down my computer. This is a great concept, I just wish it would have worked.
