A pair of infrared transmission and receiving tubes are included in the Robotbanao Infrared Obstacle Avoidance IR Sensor Module (Active Low). The reflected IR waves are picked up by the receiver tube when the transmitted light waves are reflected back. The processing is done by the integrated comparator circuit, and the green indication LED turns on. The IR sensor module is extensively applicable for a variety of tasks, including black-and-white line tracking, obstacle avoidance for robots, count on vehicle assembly lines, and more. This sensor module may be utilised for wheel encoders, positioning feedback for control systems, industrial safety systems, and obstacle detection in autonomous robots and vehicles.
